Inboard engines are usually smaller and used for powering the boat while outboards provide more power and are often used for speedier boating.Water Plumbing: This type of plumbing is used to distribute water throughout a boat. It can include valves, faucets, and even tanks.

If your boat has a water pump, bilge pump, or other water system, it’s important to know what problems to look for and how to fix them if they occur.Common Boat Plumbing Problems and How to Fix ThemFoul smelling water: This is the most common boat plumbing problem. Make sure the water pipes leading into the engine are not blocked or plugged. If the problem persists, check for a clogged filter.Low water level: Make sure all hoses and lines leading into and from the engine are securely fastened.
